o2 Voicemail vVARY

O2 has replaced the voicemail system with a newer platform. The new platform offers an improved Visual Voicemail function and therefore it is necessary to install this new Visual Voicemail Client. This new client is not compatible with the old voicemail system. The old o2 Voicemail client will work until the mailbox is migrated from the old to the new system. After the mailbox has been migrated to the new system, the o2 Voicemail users will be informed that they have to install this client in order to continue using the service. When starting the VVM client for the first time, the mobile phone must be logged into the o2 network. In order to be able to use the VVM client, the client must register with Voicemail. This happens automatically after the client has been started and the cell phone is logged into the o2 network.


Important: In order for the o2 Voicemail app to work properly, it is necessary to deactivate the energy-saving mode for this app !!!
If this is not done, new messages will be displayed with an enormous delay.

o2 Voicemail is a voicemail solution for Android. With the help of the o2 Voicemail app, mailbox messages are automatically loaded into the memory of your own mobile phone. The called subscriber is informed of the missed call on the display. The number of existing messages is displayed on the start screen of the mobile phone.

The app offers the following features:
- Extended mailbox functionalities
- Listen to and manage messages
- Calling back contacts
- Sending SMS
- Manage, activate and record greetings (announcements)

The app is available to all o2 contract customers.
o2 prepaid and third-party providers are currently not supported.
