It is an interface to retrieve video clips from the dash cam, but it is basically the bare minimum and data transfer is so freaking slow, even with a high speed micro sd card. Unless you need the video involving an accident, it would be better to just buy a go pro, running full time. Wifi is supposed to be fast, but transferring a 1 min clip at 4k for 10 mins is ridiculous... I have used this dash cam for over 2 months so far.

Absolute garbage just like the dash cam. The dash cam broke after just a few months. Screen won't turn on at all. Tried changing sd cards to no avail. Wish I would've known they pay people for 5 star reviews on amazon before I bought their terrible product. Basically scammers.
