Latest software update is junk. Screwed up my ability to use the app. What a waste of money this thing turned out to be after using it for a couple years with the old app. I do not recommend anyone to purchase this device. Things were fine when they kept the app simple, without the bloatware. They should allow people to revert back to the older version. Why would you even need location services on. Update...07/08/2023; I decided to try the latest app and it worked without any hitches. Nice!

It's good to have easy access to the PC unit but with no choice to stop it from constantly asking for location access, AND Bluetooth just to run the app while connected to the unit,, it's killing my battery faster than any other app I have. Why is it necessary to force location access when there clearly isn't a need for it concerning the user besides gps speed and weather?

The old app was fantastic. Click on it and change your modes. This new app is the WORST! They make you login, show you a home page full of garbage they want you to buy and then maybe you can access your commander modes to change. Changing the app like that should be illegal. I don't recommend. Also it doesn't support rotating you device.

I paid a little over $300 for the Pedal Commander. Now, after the recent update, they want to charge you to use a security feature built into and formally usable. That's complete ROBBERY. I'm talking about the Anti- theft setting. They now want you to subscribe to a monthly, or yearly charge to use a setting that requires NOTHING on their part, it's already there. DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT IT'S TRULY NOT WORTH IT....
