The best dictionary I've ever used as a student of literature. It contains many old, archaic words that you can encounter in old works of literature and can't find them in other dictionaries nowadays. The definitions are short, quick and easy to understand. My only problems are the lack of voiced pronunciation, and the fact that you need a separate thesaurus app to look up synonyms. Chambers dictionary and thesaurus should be one app. Other than that, excellent app to use alongside wordweb.

I'm sure it's me, but I find the Chambers Dict and Thesaurus (both Pro) almost impossible to navigate without Wordweb - which is fine I suppose but everything falls apart when I need to search from online editors - which is most of the time. Integration with Twitter is good but other apps are persnickety.

Instead of displaying reference applications data of that application be used so that meanings are displayed immediately rather than opening it altogether. Consider the example of ABBYY Lingvo dictionary. What I'm asking for is a better coordination between the applications. Thanks!

I've used this dictionary for years, but the search for words using wild cards doesn't work on my new Samsung galaxy

Why does this product even exist and cost $10? It is inferior to the excellent and free wordweb. If it has any features that are worth paying for (I haven't found them), they should be made clearer. Do not waste your money.
