ANCHOR ALARM/WATCH-Drift Alert

Anchor Alarm 219 is a maritime safety application that monitors a vessel’s GPS position while it is anchored or moored when the boater is not present on the boat. If the vessel moves beyond a preset safety circle, the app automatically sends an SMS alert to the boater’s phone to warn of possible anchor drag or theft.

SMS is essential because the boat may be unattended and offline, with no Internet or Wi-Fi connectivity. This feature ensures the boater can be alerted while ashore, even when no one is onboard.

The phone number is entered manually by the user in the Setup screen, stored locally, and can be deleted at any time. The app sends only safety alerts, never promotional messages, and shares no data with the developer or third parties. The app does not change the phone number without the user's knowledge.
