The Digital Vehicle Registration Document (DFZ) is a digital version of the vehicle registration document that can be used in the i-Kfz app on your device. With the i-Kfz app, vehicle owners can view, update, and share their vehicle registration document (registration certificate part I (ZB I)) anytime and anywhere. This facilitates access to important vehicle data and reduces the effort required to manage paper documents. The app also offers a secure and user-friendly way to digitally manage vehicle registration documents.

App features:

APPLICATION AND PROVISION:
As the owner of your vehicle, you can apply for a Digital Vehicle Registration Document using eID authentication and upload it to the i-Kfz app. In the initial version of the app, this only applies to natural persons.

UPDATING:
The currentness and validity of the Digital Vehicle Registration Document are automatically checked when you open the app. The i-Kfz app also offers automatic updates, such as reminders of upcoming general inspections.

SHARING:
With just a few clicks, you as the owner can create as many images of your vehicle registration document as you like and share them with third parties for permanent or temporary use via a link or QR code.

VIEW:
With the help of a user-friendly view, you can view your vehicle and owner data at any time, even without an internet connection, and present them, for example, during a traffic check or general inspection.

DELETE:
Of course, you can delete the vehicle registration document and its images yourself in the app.
