Yacht racing app, helping Race Officers and Support Boats set great courses.
Any boats laying marks can zoom in on the map and see exactly where to lay their marks or tap on a mark for a compass direction and distance, making accurate mark laying simple and quick.
The race officer can update the course and any point and all support boats will get course updates, in realtime.

Great app for race officers to set a course and change it and for race teams to easily lay marks. Very easy to use for ROs and mark laying boats. You can add marks and other identifying features on the water. They have just added the ability to add in custom areas. We use it to identify a deep channel and ensure that the marks aren't laid in deep water. Our race area is a bit restricted and Buoy Zone lets ROs test course layouts in different wind directions from the comfort of their own home.

The developers of this app are trying to give back to the sport which is to be commended. After the race officer defines the race course it SHOULD allow accurate placement of course marks. Unfortunately the app fails to achieve this constantly giving incorrect directions to mark positions. Hopefully they can address the issue is a future release
