PennTransit Mobile offers easy access to campus transportation.
KEY FEATURES:
Advanced Trip Planner—from your start location to your final destination, know the route you’re going to take and determine whether our fixed-route buses or on-demand shuttles will get you there faster.
Schedule & Route Review—view route schedules on a stop-by-stop basis on all available routes so you can plan every trip ahead of time. The app also lets you know our service area boundaries so you can see if you need to use complimentary transportation such as SEPTA, LUCY, or Drexel Bus to get you to your final destination.
Intelligent Notifications—subscribe to routes or stops to get arrival, departure, and delay information sent directly to your device.
On-Demand—When using our on-demand shuttles, you can get a real-time view of your shuttle.
Alerts – Check the app for updates from Penn Transit Services.

Update 1/12: the recent updates seem to have fixed some issues. Design and intuitiveness are still lacking, but scheduling and location have improved. It looks like Penn is looking for ways to discourage the use of Penn transit services. In that sense the app is successful! It does not read location accurately, estimated waiting times are a wild guess, the map of the buses is buried deep in a menu and is inaccurate, and it will only let me schedule an on-demand ride for later.

This app is frustrating to use. Beyond the confusing UI, where things are buried deep in menus that shouldn't require more than one tap to get to, the app is otherwise okay. It shows the routes but the times are never correct, the bus icons disappear from the map so it's a total guess if your bus will come or not and when. There's seemingly no support and it doesn't seem like they care to improve this app too much. So it seems like we're stuck with this app in a somewhat broken state.

This app is a mess. It will keep you waiting for more than 1 hour and very often driver will drive away without picking you up. It keeps happening for almost one week without any sign of improvement. Try to call pennride or use the old app, it will make your life much easier.
