Hints
1. In addition to the S-POS plug-in, the Sparkasse POS main app is required to use card acceptance. This can be downloaded from the Google Play Store.
2. For security reasons, the S-POS plug-in must be updated every 28 days. You will be informed several times about the update of the S-POS plug-in a few days before the end of the 28-day period of use. You then have until the end of the 28-day period of use to carry out the update. Otherwise, the S-POS plug-in can no longer be used until the update and card payments can no longer be accepted. For trouble-free operation, you must allow app updates and preferably have them installed automatically.
3. The S-POS plug-in needs permission to start automatically when the smartphone is switched on. In most smartphone models, the authorization "automatic start" is already specified as a standard for the S-POS plug-in. If the automatic start is not activated, there may be problems with card acceptance.
4. After installation, the plug-in is not displayed on the home screen of your smartphone and can only be controlled via the operating system settings.
5. The plug-in is always active in the background because, for security reasons, the app regularly checks at short intervals whether something has been changed on the app or the smartphone that could pose a risk. The power consumption may increase slightly as a result.
6. For security reasons, the app is not offered for rooted devices.
