It's pretty hard at first but once you know the right tactics , you'll be able to proceed smoothly through the levels. Though I must say, this game ain't really newbie friendly. Also I encountered a bug where the battleship is almost as fast as the fighter and I can't summon more fleet ships because of it. Overall experience, it is fun. Would play again 💞

I don't like it as much as the other Battlevoid games - basically the luck of getting the right science advances determines if you will win a level of not. The first waves of every level are repetitive and relatively boring, especially if you play through them for the umpteenth time. I just finished the last level on normal difficulty and probably won't come back to this game. Harbinger and Sector Siege have a much higher replay value.

Like this, but it's extremely hard, and becomes really easy once you figure the way to do it, problem here is that means there's pretty much a single way to play against each enemy type, and if you play your way you will lose every time. This unfortunately means it can be boring. The newer versions are better.

Deeply frustrating. Research unlocks random upgrades and you'll be able to buy maybe two of them before the boss wave. They're the wrong upgrades and you die. Rinse and repeat. Guns don't lead their target so all the slow turrets are worthless.
