Great tool that I wish was more widespread. Is it flawless? No. But damn does it save a ton of the pain explaining rules to players who tune out the explanation process. Some people learn by doing, and this makes that easy and more tactically sound. I just wish the voices weren't robotic, but there's subtitles so you can mute it. Segmenting the instructions so you can tap next without missing anything is great! $3/mo or $30/yr ain't bad for player tracking & tools either (completely optional)
I really like this app. I hope it's still supported. Used it for several board games that I purchased. I wish they would add more games to it though... That being said, the tutorials are fantastic.
The concept and app itself is really cool. It is a little buggy at the moment and needs to be fixed. There are 2 dized apps showing up in my app drawer and one doesn't open. When I uninstall that both apps get uninstalled. When trying to launch a game tutorial the bottom half including the button is off screen and I can't press it (in landscape mode which the app defaults to)
Cool idea, poorly executed. The app crashed constantly and it's a bit frustrating to deal with. If it didn't crash every 2 minutes it would actually be a really cool app to have.
Picture this. You've just opened the new board game you have paid good money for. Rather than go through the rulebook, you use the recommended Dized app to get started quickly with an interactive rules tutorial. You and the other players are huddled around the device listening to the setup instructions with your device volume cranked up. Suddenly the app interrupts with shrieking, unskippable, full-screen ads for Candy Crush-esque gacha game apps. This happens again and again and again. Pass.
