Developer Description
Information for contributing to good use for Medical Infusion Devices.
The infusion is a common act often trivialized, while it may be the cause of incidents of medical device. The Sterile Medical Devices Committee (CODIMS) AP-HP wanted to issue as early as 2007 recommendations for proper use of medical infusion devices, which have since been updated regularly (last updated July 2015).
With the "Reco Infusion» application, learn about certain aspects of the infusion with twelve recommendations whose main themes are the establishment of procedures for an infusion line of pocket packaged products, or glass bottle, the flow control arrangements, the optimal frequency change IV lines, the modalities of handling ramps and 3-way valves, infusion valves, rinsing first peripheral and central channels and the subcutaneous infusion .
Learn about the specifically used infusion DM for administration of anticancer drugs, with the aim of optimizing the safety of medical staff.
These recommendations are based on the analysis of literature and on expert opinion (through a multidisciplinary group of experts) and have been validated by the CODIMS of the AP-HP. They voluntarily exclude upstream and downstream of the "infusion line", ie drugs (reconstitution procedures, labeling, etc.) and medical injection devices (needles, catheters, etc.).
The graphic and editorial design was done by the Scientific Secretariat COMEDIMS Service Pharmaceutical Evaluation and Proper Use of AGEPS (General Agency equipment and health products). IT developments have been made by the team WIND ISD AP-HP.
