4 Days is all it took with all proper documentation submission linked with digilocker. that is it took for renew and expired passport to be sent to my home with police verification done on tatkal basis. day one submission , got interview next day 3rd day police verification and same day passport issued and 4th day delivered through India Postal services.
My mother applied for a passport and police verification was initiated. The police officer asked whether we own a house and threatened to cancel the passport because we live in a rented house. We are legally residing at this address with valid proof. I have already received my passport at the same rented address earlier. The officer also demanded money.
Suggestion for issue with mobile interface: In the document advisor section, when you go to fresh application for senior citizen and you come to sellect applicable case(s) page, you cannot click "Continue" at the bottom of page because the bottom panel of your application (which shows back and home buttons) blocks this. Please change the aspect ratio so the "Continue" button isn't at the extreme bottom of the page (i.e. leave some blank space below it so it isn't at the bottom of my screen).
What a poorly designed app I am trying service for reissue of my password but the stupid app doesn't taking the OTP, which is the right one, and there is every time there is problem in typing the OTP in the app. There are too many bugs. It's I don't think so. This app is secure and poorly mad. At least government should make a good passport app.
Drop down doesn't open. Too much hang up. Screen refresh unnecessary. While clicking on otp box entire code get selected and unable to unselect. payment button not work after payment cancel no other way to pay.No user friendly app.
