Many of the Eiken vocabulary questions are taken from past exams, with frequently appearing words appearing repeatedly. The Stage 1 section for each part of speech in the app includes words that have appeared as correct answers and words that have appeared frequently as multiple-choice questions. Prioritizing Stage 1 study will help you approach the passing score efficiently.

In this app, words are categorized by part of speech and listed in order of number of times they have been correct in past Eiken tests and frequency of appearance (the order of words with the same number of correct answers and frequency is randomized).
The Japanese translation uses the correct meaning. For other words, we used the primary meanings identified by multiple dictionaries.

By repeatedly practicing and taking tests in the app, you can review weaker words in a vocabulary book that you can freely assign.


Select the category you want to practice (e.g., Adjectives A) and the settings screen will appear.
Set your preferences and press "Start Practice."

<15 Question Test>
The "15 Question Test" button in the lower right corner will randomly select 15 words from the selected category.
The interval and order of questions are optimized to help you memorize English vocabulary.
After answering all 15 questions, your time and score will be displayed.
Quicker answers will earn you more points, and a graph will keep track of your progress.
The 15 questions in the test will be displayed as a list, making it convenient for review.


Tap the top right corner of the "Japanese Translation" cell to check the box and register the checked word in your "Vocabulary Book."
Tick the box and tap "Select Vocabulary Book" in the bottom right corner of the screen.
Seven vocabulary books are available. You can create your own vocabulary book for words you struggle with.


English vocabulary can be automatically played on the vocabulary book and vocabulary list pages.


On the search page, you can search by word, meaning, or phonetic symbol. You can then move from your searched word to a list organized by part of speech.
