Kuna vVARY

The goal of the Kuna application is to educate and raise awareness of the importance of financial literacy. By learning and recognizing financial concepts, users acquire knowledge and skills that can be used in employment. Also, users learn how to manage their own budget more efficiently and master coping skills in a dynamic world of finance.

Using the application:

On the home screen of the application, there is a menu where selecting the "Quiz" button provides an opportunity to learn and test knowledge in five categories: Taxes, Loans, Savings, Investments and Pensions. Within each category there is an educational content and a quiz of 15 questions to test what has been learned. By recording the achieved points, the adoption of an individual module is measured. The possible minimum number of points won is 15, while the maximum is 45 per category. For each correct answer from the first attempt, the user gets 3 points, from the second 2, and from the third 1 point. In this way, the user always comes up with the correct answer and thus acquires knowledge.

In addition to the Quiz, the menu includes additional information about the student association "Economic Clinic" and information about the development of the application. Selecting the Accessibility button offers the ability to customize the display of the application for people with disabilities. Within accessibility, options for high contrast, enlarged font and font intended for people with dyslexia have been implemented.

The application was created in collaboration with the Student Association "Economic Clinic" at the Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (FER), University of Zagreb.
