I left Splitwise due to its greedy & aggressive monetization. I tried many apps but this one is a perfect alternative for me splitting expenses with my partner. It's free, got a nice looking UI, very quick/few clicks to add an expense, you can customize spending categories and see graphs, etc. Optionally you can pay a one time fee (no monthly subscription!) of $6 per group to add repeating transactions, and other minor bonus features. I have pretty basic needs and Sesterce is amazing at them

This app has great potential. However, there's one small thing stopping me from using this app. Almost all my bills are to be unevenly split. The app splits the expenses as per shares, by default. That's fine. But to change that default amount to an amount of my choice for all the participants (bcoz it's an uneven split) is difficult and takes too many clicks. I wish there was an easier option/tab to switch to uneven split mode allowing to simply enter amounts against each participants.

I love this app, and the developer is very kind and incredibly responsive. It has everything I need, except for one crucial feature: PDF attachments. Not being able to attach PDF invoices and receipts is a dealbreaker. However, since the developer has promised that PDF attachment support is in the works, I went ahead and purchased the $50 VIP lifetime premium. I've given 3 stars for now. I’ll update my review to 5 stars once the feature is added.

Notifications are a basic feature. If that's in the premium category, then people will not buy the premium for accessing it, rather they will opt for a different app. Also, please stop the "buy premium" banners in the groups. It's very often displayed. Rest all features are good. Biggest issue is the notification thing.
