A work developed in the seventies by the Sansoni Lexicographic Center which has become a point of reference for completeness and clarity of consultation.

This new edition combines Sansoni’s prestigious lexicographical tradition with the quintessence of contemporary lexicography. As well as the habitual focus on the historical heritage of the two languages, a vast quantity of neologisms and idiomatic expressions has been added.

Great attention has been paid to varieties of the spoken language. The differences between British and American English are highlighted, and space is devoted to words and meanings of English words used in countries such as India, where English has become the preferred language for research and economics.

The app's interface provides a simple and intuitive search experience. Each definition can be shared using the features available in the device, such as social media, e-mail, SMS, cloud. A main menu that can be activated via an icon available at the top right of the screen enables all the features of the app:

• Privacy and Credits: view legal notices about the app
