The Italian state budget is now public thanks to an app aimed not only at professionals and parliamentarians but also at the general public, making it easier to consult and understand budget items.

Open Budget is the application of the Ministry of Economy and Finance – State General Accounting Office, which aims to better address the demands of transparency for all citizens and operational efficiency for professionals.

HIGHLIGHTS
The home page presents summary data and the most significant information on the complex structure of budget data. This is where all the useful information for those approaching the Italian state budget for the first time can be found. Additional periodic news also covers other events related to public accounting and finance, such as the DEF (Economic and Financial Document), State Payments, the Gender Budget, the Budget, the Eco-Report, etc.

ACCESS TO DOCUMENTS
The Italian state budget documents are now more accessible; users can browse by category and download content with a tap. A dedicated glossary allows you to search for the meaning of technical terms.

DATA NAVIGATION
Data navigation allows you to consult Revenues, Expenditures, and Balances: for the Financial Statement, the Adjustment, and the Budget Law, you can browse Revenues by Title, Nature, Type, Activity, Chapter, and Article, and Expenditures by Ministry, Mission, Program, Title, CDR, Category, Action, Chapter, and Management Plan. You can also view Balances and key indicators, accessing detailed data in tabular or graphical format.

If you wish to receive newsletters from Bilancio Aperto, you can register your email address on the app. Your email account will be used exclusively to communicate budget process events and app updates.
