"Chiikawa" is a popular manga serialized by illustrator Nagano on X (formerly Twitter) since 2020.
The story of Chiikawa and his friends, who live fun, sad, and slightly tough days, has gained widespread popularity among adults and children alike, and as of June 2025, X has over 4 million followers.
"Chiikawa" has also won the Grand Prix at the Japan Character Awards 2022, 2024, and 2025, which was announced in July 2025.

First off, I want to say that the game is great. As someone who has played numerous other games with the same genre or style of gameplay, it follows its usual formula and does it well. The people complaining are either new to the genre or are mad because there's microtransactions (which should've been expected for an online game, but I digress). Also, the microtransactions are NOT a must buy—it's there if you just want some extra stuff. Overall, if you want to try it, go and have fun!

The quality and the gameplay is cute. But, I'm thks game is kinda p2w ( pay to win ) because they are using the characters and etc to make the players buy it with real money.

What I was the most afraid of happened. Basically using our favourite characters as a predatory paid system and adding so many ways to inject money into the game instead of correcting bugs and latency upon release. You took more time to create battle passes day one then actually starting the game to see if it runs well or not... edit : even laggier than before, new cashgrab content. please avoid this game and don't stain chiikawa even more
