■Main functions of the NAMO app
① “Compound route search”
It is a comprehensive navigation service that uses AI to select the optimal route from various transportation methods such as walking, train, car, bus, and airplane, and allows you to search from the departure point to the destination.
You can also check the weather at your current location and destination, so you can feel safe when going out.

② “Transfer information”
This is a transfer information service that allows you to search for train and bus transfers and see the optimal boarding position for transfers.

③ “Timetable display”
In addition to displaying timetables for all railways in Japan, this service also allows you to display train timetables that are registered as favorites up to two trains ahead from the current time.

④ “Transportation (taxi/share cycle) arrangement/payment”
This is a service that allows you to reserve and pay for taxis and shared bicycles from the app. For car sharing, you can also make reservations and payments by going to a partner site [1].
Please note that the transportation fee will be borne by the customer.

⑤ “Spot information search”
This is a service that allows you to check recommended spots for outings across Japan on a timeline similar to SNS.
Hashtags (#) are attached to posted information linked to each spot, and it is also possible to search by keyword.

⑥“Insurance claim for taxi usage fee”
This is a service for customers with Tokio Marine & Nichido auto insurance that allows you to claim the taxi fare arranged by NAMO as an insurance claim. [2]
You can easily bill by selecting the billing target from the usage history list.

⑦ “Icon settings”
By setting your favorite image as an icon, the image will be displayed on the map when providing route guidance, making your journey even more enjoyable.
