[How to Enjoy YAMASTA]
◆ Participate in a Stamp Rally and Collect Stamps
Check in at stamp rally courses across Japan, or at check-in-enabled tourist attractions and mountains to receive a commemorative digital stamp. Collect stamps and create your own stamp book!
Stamp designs vary depending on your check-in location. You'll have to check in to find out what stamps you'll get.

◆ Map feature that lets you check your current location and check-in location
The newly added map feature allows you to check your current location and check-in location on Geospatial Information Authority of Japan maps or Google Maps. In addition, some stamp rally events have course maps available. By downloading the Geospatial Information Authority of Japan maps and course maps in advance, you can view them even in the mountains without cell phone reception. Please download them before you head out.

◆ Save money with Yamasta-exclusive coupons
Yamasta-exclusive digital coupons are available for use at restaurants and facilities around the course. Use them before, during, or after your hike to save money on your stamp rally.

◆ Collect stamps and receive original novelty items
At some stamp rally events, you can win original novelty items on a first-come, first-served basis or through a lottery. The conditions for earning novelty items vary depending on the stamp rally event, so please check the Yamasta website for details.

◆ Complete the stamp rally and get a trophy
Earn trophies based on your stamp rally completion status. In addition to the stamp rally completion trophy, there are also limited-time trophies and hidden trophies.

◆Earn Yahoo! Points by Checking In
Check in at tourist attractions and mountain peaks and earn stamps to receive Yahoo! Points. Your Yahoo! Level increases according to the points you earn.

◆Paid Service "Yahoo! Membership"
Basic features are free, but by joining the paid "Yahoo! Membership" service, you'll gain access to convenient features like the "Self-Stamp Issuance" and "Auto Check-In" features. You'll also receive exclusive perks like pins. For more information, please visit our website.

・Self-Stamp Issuance Feature
Users can issue stamps for up to 10 locations per year for mountains they climbed before starting Yamasta, or for places they forgot to check in at.

・About the Auto Check-In Feature
This feature automatically issues a stamp upon arrival at a check-in location, preventing you from forgetting to check in.

※Regarding the use of foreground service permissions: The auto check-in feature obtains foreground location information with your permission. Foreground services are only used when checking in at a spot using the auto check-in feature.

●Notes
- You can check in at YAMASTA even when you're out of mobile phone signal range. Depending on your smartphone's performance, weather, terrain, and other conditions, your smartphone's GPS accuracy may decrease, preventing you from checking in. Stamps are issued by submitting an application to the Secretariat; please check the application procedure on the website. Also, please note that some smartphones may have difficulty using the app.
- Be sure to allow the alert that appears when you first launch the app, asking whether you want to allow location services. If you decline, you can change the settings by going to "Settings > Privacy > Location Services" on your iPhone.
- For questions or comments about the app, please contact us via the app's "Menu" > "Contact Us."
- Before checking in, always stop and ensure your surroundings are safe. For safety reasons, the check-in area has been set wide, allowing you to check in even from a short distance from the designated location.
- GPS is used in the background for check-in functions and notification distribution. Please note that this may slightly drain your battery.
