YTN · HUFS Debate Timer


This is a timer specially set for rules of YTN · HUFS English Debating Championship.

The bell rings automatically at certain times according to rules.

It is available for every single student worldwide for the elementary, middle, and high school division of YTN · HUFS English Debating Championship

Give it a try with this application before you participate. It will be used in the actual tournaments.

The following is the function currently supported.
Elem Division: Constructive Speech (4min) & Reply Speech (3min)
Mid Division: Constructive Speech (6min) & Reply Speech (3min)
High Division: Constructive Speech (8min) & Reply Speech (4min)

The bell rings once at the first minute, implying the end of protected time.
The bell rings once at the last one minute, implying the beginning of protected time.
The bell rings twice at the end of the given time for each speech.
The bell rings on and on after 30 seconds of a grace period.

Depending on the competition rules will ring automatically at a specified time of paper.

The YTN · HUFS English Debating Championship elementary, middle and high school competition is open to all students and the world.

Try before you enter the competition practiced in this application is used in the actual competition.


Features that are currently supported are listed below.

- Elementary speaker (4 minutes) and Respondent 3 (minutes)
- Middle school speakers (six minutes) and Respondent 3 (minutes)
- High school speakers (8 minutes) and Respondent 4 (minutes) is set.

- The first one minutes notifying the statement released at the elapsed time protection rings once
- Exit the ring one minutes per statement indicating the remaining time of reset time protection
- Two rings indicating the speaking time per exit
- Speaking time repeating ring indicating the 30-second grace period after the termination
