Sudoku Help helps you to solve sudoku puzzles step by step.

Sudoku Help provides puzzles for you, in the categories Easy, Medium, and Hard. It also enables you to enter a puzzle of your own. Pencil marks are generated automatically. You can request a hint for the next step. For this app, both landscape and portrait orientations are supported. You can copy and paste sudoku puzzles as simple strings of 81 characters. Version 1.19 introduces the Quick Mode, enabling you to make the next step simply by touching either some highlighted square or the Give Hint button.

For those who are unfamiliar with Sudoku:
All digits 1, 2, ..., 9 must occur
- in each of the nine (horizontal) rows
- in each of the nine (vertical) columns
- in each of the nine 3 x 3 subgrids (separated by thick lines)

A Google user

It sure needs a nicer UI but it's the only app I found so far that will let you enter a board and help you with the next move so you can learn what you missed. Apps that only show you a full solution are pointless!
