Write your name in Tifinagh or Wakandan!

Tifinaɣ is a script used to write Tamazight languages spoken by the Amazigh population in North Africa (also known as Imaziɣen or Berbers). Wakandan is inspired by Tifinagh and Nsibidi (an old Nigerian script).

This app phonetically translates Latin or Arabic characters to Tifinagh. So this app translates sounds, not meaning!

The free version supports basic Tifinagh (IRCAM version). The full version unlocks:

- Extended Tifinagh (IRCAM)
- Tuareg Tifinagh
- Punic / Phoenician
- Saharan petroglyphs (probable ancestor shapes for Lybico-Berber / Tifinagh)

Not really usable. What mostly is needed is that it could convert from Tifinagh to Latin that is used for writing Amazigh and vise versa. No email in the app that I could use to contact you to address this issue. Even from Tifinagh to letter-to-letter doesn't work well, most letters are not correct. For example it uses j as y, so it seems like a try to convert it to IPA, also using æ instead of a makes me think that. But when it comes to ɣ it is presented as gh, so a mix of ipa and english trans
