"F.A.Z. Kiosk" combines the clarity and aesthetics of the newspaper with the convenience of your tablet. You can now enjoy the combination of classic and digital newspaper design. Additional features such as the article view, “topic monitor, a “read later” list, search and archive functions, complete the newspaper experience. You get with this app, the Frankfurter Allgemeine newspaper from Monday to Saturday and the Sunday newspaper the day before from 20.00 clock. Later in the evening follows the Rhine-Main-Zeitung. The first 14 days can be read free of charge all the available editions. After that, you can purchase all other issues individually or a subscription of your choice. You already have a subscription to the e-paper FAZ and / or F.A.S.? Then you can also use the services of the Android app. Simply log in with your user data from "My FAZ.NET" in the app. More information is available in the help (i) section within the app.

App is good but why does it need 15-30 sec stating at the F logo before the apps open ups.

Der Inhalt der Zeitung ist toll und steht hier nicht zur Diskussion. Die App ist allerdings nicht wirklich gut, insbesondere weil sie sich wie ein Fremdkörper anfühlt (vermutlich sieht die iOS App genau so aus und passt dort besser).

Die App läuft ein paar Tage ohne Probleme, plötzlich ist es unmöglich, die aktuelle Zeitung aufzurufen. Die Vortagszeitung funktioniert, aber nicht die aktuelle. Haeufig wird man gezwungen, sich wieder mit Namen und Passwort anzumelden. Aber ansonsten finde ich gerade das einfache PDF System mit Zoom Möglichkeit das richtige Zeitungsfeeling! Die Kritiker dieser Ansicht haben doch die Möglichkeit, mit einem Doppelklick den Artikel in moderner Form komplett auf den Bildschirm zu bekommen. Wissen die das????

Erstens muss ich die gesamte Zeitung herunterladen. Wieso, wenn ich doch nur ein paar Artikel lesen will. Zweitens, habe ich dann die Zeitung heruntergeladen, muss ich noch komisch in die Artikel hinein zoomen. Wo bleibt bitte die usability. Wenn so die digitale Zukunft der deutschen Verlage aussieht, dann gute Nacht. Eventuell sollten sich die Macher mal ein Buch zum Thema UX/UI kaufen. Vor allem ist die App nur 14 Tage kostenlos. Warum soll ich für einen solchen Mist bezahlen?
