1. Our app is based on actual materials that have been tried and tested in practice for over 10 years.
2. All Nonna Anna materials were designed and implemented according to the Montessori principles.
3. Nonna Anna material (digital) is suitable as memory training/cognitive rehabilitation for rehabilitation centers after strokes or LongCovid and can also be used in a dementia-friendly manner, e.g. B. in hospitals.

Who is the app for:

The app was developed primarily for specialists (therapists, nursing staff, speech therapists) in rehabilitation clinics, hospitals but also inpatient facilities:
 X to make access to the other person (dementia -friendly) and thereby establish a connection and trust - to experience with emotional intelligence and joy:

 X to get into joint action and filter out interests 
 X and that with the first TOUCH - when the cat 🐈 meows :), 
because the smallest thing defuses a situation (used consciously),
 is a door opener and can give the whole thing a different direction.

GOAL OF THE APP 
COGNITIVE REHABILITATION / INCLUSION
In 2011, the Nonna Anna MATERIALS were sent out as a prototype based on the strict principles of Montessori pedagogy / Montessori for seniors!
WHY: because this PRINCIPLE is the only  ped. concept is, 
 which puts “teacher and student” on the same level! Meet at eye level

What does that mean?
When using the Nonna  Anna materials or the app 
TRUE or WRONG not clarified by a social obligation (a person says: that is right or that is wrong),
but it emerges from the material itself (built-in error control)
Example: The picture shows a 🍅 tomato and the person opposite says 🍎 apple
...when you touch the digital screen, the word TOMATO appears on the back,
This means that our counterpart can read the answer themselves and correct themselves.

It should be noted here that we can communicate barrier-free with people with dementia in order to recognize needs and interests.
In the foreground, if we want to know, for example, what he/she would like to eat now, we mean the SAME.!!!

The advantage of using methodical-didactic Nonna Anna materials is:
Something can be easily and quickly recognized in images, which unfortunately doesn't work when “naming” (reproducing) them!
In Montessorian terms we are talking about the 3 step lesson, developed by Maria Montessori to familiarize children with the alphabet.

Here is a dementia-friendly example:
1st stage: I show a picture and say: that is a tomato
2nd stage: I show 2 pictures and say: show me the tomato
3rd stage: I show the picture of the tomato and say: WHAT IS THAT?

For people with dementia, a lot of COGNITIVE REHABILITATION at the 2nd level is encouraged and required with the use of the Montessori method and the nonna Anna material designed for this methodologically and didactically. 
He/she remains completely human and is neither exposed nor labeled!!
