I actually purchased this book. Excellent plot with a memorable ending. The way it ended seemed like a setup for a sequel. The characters are all easy to remember and the dialogue in the game is very good. While not completely perfect I felt the story had a good flow to it and the stats worked well. The story had some humor in it that I appreciated too. Like you jumping out windows and breaking stuff. Some of the in-game interactions were hilarious. It was a decent read.
There are some typos and some areas where "coding went wrong" there could be some better interactions with NPCs, romantic or not. Over all it is entertaining so the typos can be overlooked, not too pricey, so I did get it to finish the story, which was pretty lengthy so imo that is a plus. Some of the "rushed feelings," are somewhat explained.
The story has a interesting plot and I wouldn't mind reading a sequel if one ever pops out. What I think holds it back from being great however is the grammar and pacing; certain sections didn't feel right to read and things were jumping around too much for me to be invested with the characters and what was happening.
Interesting story, but... The poor quality of writing and blatantly obvious grammar and formatting mistakes make for a very difficult to enjoy reading experience. Letters not properly capitalized, ambiguous pronouns scattered about, half-sentences clumsily stitched together... It's a shame really, as I would like to continue on with the story, but this just takes away so much from the experience.
Starts of intriguing enough but once you get past the steep pay wall you realise your choices mean nothing. Three huge problems are that there is way too many out there ideas the dilute and confuse each other. On top of the fact the the game is far too short to even explore one idea fully, seriously the epilogue is just a mess. From someone who actually writes from time to time yes, flashbacks and "meanwhile 9km away" are useful to spice up a story but use them sparingly not 6 every chapter.
