The app dies when I access some news stories.

I like NPR and I like the app, one problem with the new app however is that it doesn't obey me closing it. I swipe up to close the app and it stays running. I gave it 5 minutes to see if it was just a buffering issue and it was still talking. this makes me suspect the app is always running in the background hoovering up data, even when I tell it to close. if they fix this behavior and contact me directly to let me know they did, I will upgrade the score to 5/5.

Still no search. More ughs. Ugh. Ugh, now it just doesn't load pages half the time.please make it go, MPR. I'm sooooooo tired of having to force quit because it's misbehaving. Not a great app, especially for how long it's been out. No search from the main page, no link to search from the main page. No way to speed up playback speed. All sorts of playback problems and no way to fast forward or rewind.
