Simple app to communicate with my child's school staff and teachers. Private one on one messaging and general posts on homepage. The school sends you an invitation link, you log in, can add your picture, contact information, see your child's teachers and interact with them. No complicated stuff or additional unnecessary features.

I like the app. My biggest complaint is with notifications. Say I get a notification of a message. If I select the notification, it usually doesn't even open the app. It'd be nice if it took me directly to the new message.

The app started out great in August, but unfortunately, I am not receiving notifications in September. I have followed their troubleshooting instructions by uninstalling and reinstalling the app. I have allowed all notifications for the app. I have tried to contact them, but it seems impossible. I hope my issue can get resolved soon.

EDIT: It has not improved. I used to receive notifications when a teacher would text us using this app. Once I installed the app, I stopped receiving notifications from teacher messages. It was very unclear how to turn on shared messages as well. I would say that this app introduced new communication problems instead of solving any.

Please fix rotating app to landscape mode when the phone display settings globally is LOCKED to potrait mode.... e Extremely annoying to have the app automatically rotate into landscape mode. When you're lying on your side in bed. Trying to review the latest messages before going to bed. Why would you override the phone setting? That says keep all apps in portrait. Mode totally are acceptable prior to the update. I didn't do this.
