You have to be online to use Bible Maps, because the map data is taken from Google Maps. Google does not allow other apps to store the map data offline.

Fabulous little app! Excellent reference to find places named in the Bible along with the relevant verses. I'd love to one day see the app also provide routes from one place to another (from Ur to Haran, for example), but as is it is still an excellent aid to Bible study. Looks good too! Looks nice, modern, has biblical locations on a map of todays world. What I would really love to see on this app that would make it a 5 stars for me is an overlay/other options to view these locations on maps that were more representative of the biblical time period. For example, the tribal allocations from Joshua represented in different colors and not including modern roads/locations

App is good, but I wish if all maps are available for offline. And when we open any book, we see red dots but no biblical name appears upon the city automatically, we have to click manually upon the red dot to see the name of each one place.

I've used this app for several years and loved it! But in the last few months, it no longer allows me to search for more than one place. The search icon disappears. I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it and it still doesn't work......
