To track progress in projects in terms of output delivery and beneficiary generation Shishder Jonno program take initiative to develop and implement a digital management information system (MIS). The system will generate real-time data which will help managers to take prompt and informed decisions for ensuring quality programs. Shishuder Jonno program in Barishal IA currently practices to capture project progress in output delivery on excel based MIS for this purpose. In those projects, frontline staff collect data by using a hand-written form and free online data collection platform like KoBo. Then data are compiled and reported to Country Office. Throughout the process, we face different challenges. In order to mitigate the challenges and obtain real-time data for prompt management decisions, we propose to establish a digital MIS.
