**Offline maps**
Norgeskart allows you to download any area to be viewed while offline. Simply zoom into your favourite area and click the "download" button in the bottom left corner. Norgeskart will download the area that is currently on your screen. You will be able to name your dowloaded areas, so you can easily organise them. This is a paid functionality that requires a subscription.

This app has an amazing level of mapping details in it, with multiple viewing layers. The search function for location names is a nice touch. Outstanding !!!

The sea maps were very useful on a recent coastal cruise. Downloaded maps not so useful because it was difficult to choose adjoining areas to download and too time consuming to download the complete cruise route. (Kirkenes to Bergen). Fortunately good WiFi was available on the ship so I made good use of online maps over the whole route.

Bra med detaljer. Loader raskt. Får se eiendoms grenser. Kan skru av kart rotasjon, noe som er fint om man zoomer inn og ut en del. Får kun målt luftavstand, savner at du velger 2 punkter også måler den avstand langs vei/sti automatisk. Kan lage mange punkter selv med luftavstand, men det blir noe unøyaktig over lengre avstander med mye svinger. Synes ikke den er god på stier heller.

It is not free to download maps. You have to pay NOK 99 first. I was stupid enough to do it, do not make my mistake! The app crashes when you try to open downloaded maps. Awful!
