Aura e-Magazine vVARY

Aura is an attempt to challenge popular stereotypes and media representations about the lives, dreams and hopes of women, especially those from marginalized communities. The magazine is being launched in a testing time, where multiple contexts of political repression, the pandemic, and continuous forms of societal injustice prevail. Our first issue takes up the question of leadership and success, and what this means to women.

Leadership and success has been painted with a very superficial and individualistic brush by media. Instead, we wish to turn the question on its head and ask what it means to lead, to challenge oneself, and to succeed. The magazine is to be viewed as a launch-pad for women to blossom naturally as leaders.

As the saying goes, the human mind, like a parachute, works best when opened. This humble initiative is to set the minds free, allowing them to experience and create a world of beauty in words.The enthusiastic write-ups of our writers are indubitably sufficient to hold the interest and admiration of the readers.
