You can check items they take without creating an account. Many items i was able to sell through them wouldn't have been taken elsewhere like cds. The only downside is you may get a little less for things. You do need access to a printer for the shipping label. They won't be open to accept the shipped items on weekends. but once they got the items it took less than 5 days to process then I got my check within a week.
Easy to use until you have to manually enter an ISBN. Still better than it could have been.
This replaces my earlier comment. I apparently misunderstood the instructions for multiple boxes. But I am still uneasy with the one sided structure. The seller bears all the risk; the buyer has none. If the seller unilaterally claims an item is damaged or in substandard condition, there is no loss to the buyer. He does not pay and has no obligation to return the item. OTOH if the buyer's claim is erroneous, the seller loses both item and payment with no recourse.
Prices quoted are ridiculous..CDs are standard $0.28 - books even less. I did a test, scanned a brand new, unopened 7 cd boxset which had just been released: SRP $280, this app offered $1.50. LOL. its ok to get rid of stuff you really don't care about, but the process is tedious, takes forever and don't expect any communication. Nor a payday. its not a stellar app, or blows.your mind
I sent in 3 different batches of books and each time my payout was reduced because books were "missing" from the packages. I thought it was odd because I 100% sent in all the books on the payout list. What was odd is all the books that they said were "not in the box" were all the most expensive books that would have given me a payout of $5+ per book. The first time it happened I thought it was a mistake on their part, but it has now happened every time I have mailed in a package.
