HOW TO PLAY SKAT
In the trick-taking game of Skat, a round consists of two phases: bidding and playing tricks. The bidding determines the declarer who is allowed to pick up the two remaining cards – the skat – and decides the conditions of trick-taking. This is followed by the actual trick-taking, in which you aim to win as many valuable cards as possible. When all cards have been played, evaluation ensues: If the declarer wins, they receive points resulting from the game value. For a lost game, however, double the game value is deducted.

Good game BUT why are games ending after 2 min if a player leaves, it's an inviting to cheat, have a good game just leave make first place after 2 min win all the chips... sry guys that's ridic and very easy to prevent by another rule... Anyway 5 stars with the hope of fixin this issue otherwise 3-4 stars.

Best skat app I have found. Tried many others and this is the easiest to use. New update: app changed in April 2025 so that when you start playing a hand, a loud ad starts playing which interferes with the game, I learned to use the pause function until the ad ends which likely annoys the other players while I wait 30 seconds. Around April 2023 the app was changed so that you get annoying loud ads after a round. Sometimes the only way out of the ad is to totally close the app and start over.

After the tutorial for the game itself it recommends to play a few games to get more experience before giving access to more tutorials. I entered a quick match and of course had NO idea what to do in the bidding phase. Thanks for nothing I guess. Uninstalled immediately. Why would you only explain the LATTER half of a game in a tutorial?
