Lost Riders v1.7.5
Lost RidersAbout this app
Lost Riders aims to solve the problem of navigation for its users, particularly those who frequently travel to new locations, by providing a reliable guide to avoid getting lost. This app benefits travelers, commuters, and adventure seekers the most, offering a unique solution in the Travel And Local category. Compared to alternatives, Lost Riders stands out with its simple and intuitive interface, but falls short in terms of comprehensive features and a larger user base for social proof. The app's limited downloads and mixed user rating of 3.2 out of 5 suggest areas for improvement in user satisfaction and retention.
Pros
- With a user-friendly interface, Lost Riders is accessible to a wide range of users, including those who are not tech-savvy, making it a great option for elderly travelers or those new to using travel apps.
- The app's small size and lack of permissions required suggest a focus on privacy and efficiency, which is a significant advantage for users concerned about data security and battery life.
- The absence of ads in the app enhances the user experience, allowing for uninterrupted navigation and planning, which is a significant plus for an app that is meant to be used on the go.
- The option for in-app purchases offers users the flexibility to customize their experience based on their specific travel needs, although the range of $9.99 to $99.99 per item may be steep for some users.
- The developer's email availability for support, lostridersapp@gmail.com, indicates a commitment to user feedback and issue resolution, which is crucial for building trust with the user community.
Cons
- The mixed user rating and limited number of downloads raise concerns about the app's overall effectiveness and user satisfaction, suggesting that there may be issues with the app's functionality or support that need to be addressed.
- The lack of a comprehensive feature set compared to other travel apps may deter power users who rely on advanced functionalities for their travel planning and navigation needs.
- The monetization model, while flexible, could be seen as aggressive with prices ranging from $9.99 to $99.99 per item, potentially deterring users who are looking for a free or low-cost solution.
- The absence of a developer website for additional information, support, or community engagement may make it difficult for users to find help or report issues outside of the email provided.
Best for: The ideal user for Lost Riders is an individual who frequently travels to new locations, values simplicity and ease of use in a navigation app, and is willing to pay for additional features to enhance their travel experience, likely falling within the age range of 25-50 with a medium to high level of technical skill.

Lost Riders users say on Google Play
We used this app at Ride royal blue the first of october. It was great, trails were spot on! Great features and easy to navigate app!!!
Update: the app is indeed fixed. I actually use it often now. Great job to the development team...................................... Original post: App doesn't work on Google pixel 6(android). Friends say it works well, but will not even open for me. Waste of $10. (Tried reinstalling, still doesn't work)
can't see friends on map, doesn't update there location
Do not upgrade.... You will be forced into a $120/y subscription in order to even use the app.
