The AUTHENTECH shadowing app is a specialized app for shadowing practice that can be used in conjunction with AUTHENTECH, an English coaching service provided by ALC.
Choose your own book, repeat overlapping and shadowing, and share the audio recordings with your coach.

What you can do with the app
1. Select a book and practice
Select the material you want to practice from AUTHENTECH-compatible books and materials
Immediately play the section you want to listen to/practice

2. Master the "correct rhythm" with overlapping practice
The "overlapping practice" feature allows you to listen to the sample audio while simultaneously speaking out loud.
As you progress while looking at the written text (script), it's easy to connect the sound and meaning.
Repeat overlapping to solidify difficult phrases.

3. Improve your "listen-to-speak" reaction time with shadowing
The "shadowing" practice mode allows you to follow the audio with a slight delay.
Playback speed can be adjusted, and short sections can be repeated for repeat practice.
Training is designed to simultaneously improve both listening comprehension and oral production.

4. Record and share your audio with your coach
Record and save your speech within the app.
You can share recorded audio with your AUTHENTECH coach.
Use it as feedback and guidance during sessions with your coach.
