- With over 1 million downloads, UnderDark: Defense has achieved significant social proof, indicating its popularity and appeal to a wide range of players.
- The game's lack of permissions requests is a significant advantage, as it ensures user data privacy and security, a crucial factor for users concerned about their personal information.
- The developer's active presence, as indicated by the provided website and email, suggests a commitment to updates and support, which is essential for a game's long-term success.
- The game's offline capability, implied by the lack of internet permissions, makes it accessible in areas with poor connectivity, enhancing its overall usability.
Cons
- The presence of ads and in-app purchases, with prices ranging from $0.99 to $109.99, might lead to an aggressive monetization strategy, potentially disrupting the user experience and making the game less enjoyable for those who do not wish to spend money.
- Despite the game's popularity, the lack of information about the developer's data collection practices, beyond the absence of permissions, raises questions about user privacy and how data might be used or shared.
- Some users might find the game's simplicity, while a pro for new players, to be a con in terms of depth and complexity compared to other strategy games, potentially limiting its appeal to hardcore strategy fans.
- The requirement of Android 6.0 or higher might exclude users with older devices, limiting the game's accessibility to a broader audience.

Best strategy game I've found yet. No ads.
I like the game, but absolutely hate the Montura upgrade system. they built failure into it, so you waste all your blue currency just trying to upgrade the levels. not only will it fail to upgrade, but it knocks you down a level or two. so stupid. just charge a single upgrade amount, and be done with it. or switch it to the red currency since I have a lot of that.
the game became very very boring after stage 370 something... flying monsters bypass everything, no more strategy applicable and purely a tower upgrade game. I quit at stage 384
its good but I cant ever load back in. everytime I exit the app and try to go back in.. im stuck on the main loading screen that says "remote setup" im connected to wifi and everything. only way to fix it is reinstall but then it'll just happen again.
Fun game, but if you don't pay to remove ads, you can find yourself watching ads in sets of 2, each about 60seconds long... The length of the ads is absurdly long. edit: I had started to like it again until they changed something and my hero targets the most useless target instead of the best like it used to, and I can't seem to get a freaking pickaxe despite gear that buffs the drop rate. It also feels too easy now. I don't want an easier game because you nerf the drop rates. NOT WORTH IT. 0/5!
