I wondered why this game was originally priced at nearly £5, but, having had the luck to download and try it for free I can see why, simplistic yet addictive, fun and quick platform to pick up and play. I love how quick it is to learn the game, yet the challenges aren't over after a few levels, things change and your hand isn't held, especially if you want to max all levels to their full rewards
A really well made TD game that I super enjoy, There's a wide variety of towers you unlock overtime so it never feels overwhelming. The maps and levels are well made and force you to rethink what towers you use. My one complaint is that for a paid TD game it feels fairly short. I had fun grinding for all 4 stars on each map, but this didn't long for me to finish. There is an endless mode but the map is blank, and the only objective is to get a better hiscore. So I got tired of endless quickly.
the game refuses to rotate with the orientation of your phone. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, it just doesn't rotate, so of you like to have your phone plugged in while you lay down and play enjoy bending the soul out of your charger if you switch sides like I do. other wise its okay, some of the levels feel really down to luck, and maximizing score comes solely down to remembering to hit "skip" (whatever that means I feel like it should say "boost" instead)
Unfortunately on my pixel 7 the screen doesnt seem to fit correctly. In the heat of the game you end up dragging the app and moving it around which is annoying as hell.
This is actually such a bad game I have no idea how it is $5 with 4.3 stars. The upgrades are terrible. I create the entire map and every single level is beaten with the exact same strategy. The upgrades suck and you can't upgrade the miners to get more points faster. Levels end before I can even place 10 towers or I would have 3 upgraded ones at the absolute most. People that gave this a good review must be happy they have something slightly better than watching paint dry.
