Human Resource Machine is a puzzle game for nerds. In each level, your boss gives you a job. Automate it by programming your little office worker. If you succeed, you'll be promoted up to the next level for another year of work in the vast office building. Congratulations!

Don't worry if you've never programmed before - programming is just puzzle solving. If you strip away all the 1's and 0's and scary squiggly brackets, programming is simple, logical, beautiful, and something that anyone can understand and have fun with! Are you already an expert? Like others I equally encountered the black screen bug. I contacted the developers who sent me an old version of the game that I've had absolutely no problems with. Yes, installing that old version did wipe my save bite I was at level 7 or something and didn't mind. 5 stars to the developers for sending me a version that works. To be honest the old version the developers sent me is the version which should be up here on the Google play store and not this version which is clearly broken.

5/5 if not for the screen rotation bug. Screen auto-rotation is too sensitive and activates too often, flipping the screen upside-down. Also, there is no setting to turn off music and SFX. A game to teach programming, so it's heavily based in math and logic. Even if you have programming experience, it's still fun to play but will not be as challenging. However, trying to solve the optional optimization challenges (for size and speed) makes it more interesting. You can't backup your progress (I think), so it makes this more re-playable for me.

Great fun if you're into this sort of thing! Concur with other's opinions on the coolness of it. BUT my 5 star rating is reduced to 3 because of simple interface issues that make it incredibly frustrating: lock screen takes over while you're thinking, auto rotates to be upside down at the slightest jiggle, the buttons at the bottom hardly ever respond, trying to scroll the code inevitably leads to modifying it. Grrr! These little annoyances add up over repeated exposure. At this price... no dice

No settings to be adjusted. Refunded after second level as unable to play in bed cause the game has auto rotation so even if you have screen rotation off, the game will keep rotating when you lay down or play on the moving bus or doing anything but holding still and straight. I really don't think they thought this platform through...

Major issue with sound, does not turn off, always on, even the speaker icon only partial mutes sound, I used to like this game but this lack of ability to disable sound wrecks this game, the developers should be very ashamed of the incompetence.
