During more than 15 years of work, the "Michaelis Modern Dictionary of the Portuguese Language" was totally revised, updated and expanded by Editora Melhoramentos and in 2015 it received the name "Michaelis Brazilian Dictionary of the Portuguese Language".

And now, celebrating 10 years of success on Google Play, the "Michaelis Brazilian Dictionary of Portuguese Language" app has been updated and expanded by A&H Software, also featuring a new look, more responsive, fluid, modern and attractive. It's been 10 years of work to bring you the most complete and updated dictionary of Portuguese spoken in Brazil, now available only in digital format.

Elaborated with scientific and lexicographical rigor, the "Michaelis Brazilian Dictionary of the Portuguese Language" has more than 350,000 definitions and is updated with terms that emerged with the development of science and technology and with new words used in the most varied media, in addition to regionalisms, colloquialisms and slang.

The entire content of the dictionary follows the Orthographic Vocabulary of the Portuguese Language (VOLP, 5th edition, March 2009), respecting the changes introduced by the 1990 Portuguese Language Orthographic Agreement.
