BUUT is the new bank for teenagers aged 10 to 16 and their parents. Created by the creators of Tikkie and part of ABN AMRO.

BUUT is free for you and your child. Your child does need a phone. Here's how it works:

Step 1: Sit down together and both download the BUUT app.
Step 2: Create your own account as a parent (grab your passport or ID card).
Step 3: Start your child's account.
Step 4: Invite your child and discover how the app works together.

We believe that you learn to manage money by doing it yourself. Make it a money game! Because with BUUT, you learn to save, pay, and budget with money. As a parent, you watch and gradually let go.

Why is BUUT a Tikkie different?

With BUUT, you divide your money between payment and savings funds. Uniquely, you can pay directly with it. For example, pay for your new shirt with your clothing allowance fund. This way, you keep track and learn how to manage your money.

You'll receive tips from experts and see how other parents and teenagers approach money matters. Teenagers also get tips, such as how to keep money safe and save.

What if your child turns 17 or 18?
Your child can continue using BUUT even then. Because after the summer, our version for young people aged 18 and older will be ready. Our payment and savings accounts are and will remain super convenient, of course.
