Corentium Pro by Airthings v4.5.1
Airthings ASAAbout this app
The Corentium Pro by Airthings app solves the problem of radon testing and report generation for professionals and individuals concerned about indoor air quality. This app benefits most those who need to perform radon tests regularly, such as homeowners, builders, and environmental consultants. Compared to alternatives in the Tools category, Corentium Pro stands out for its specific focus on radon testing and its ability to connect to dedicated instruments. However, its limited functionality and mixed user reviews may make it less appealing to some users.
Pros
- The Corentium Pro app has a simple and intuitive interface, making it easy for users to perform radon tests and generate reports, even for those without extensive technical knowledge.
- The app's ability to connect to Corentium Pro instruments provides accurate and reliable radon test results, which is essential for making informed decisions about indoor air quality.
- The fact that the app is free to download and use, with no ads or in-app purchases, makes it an attractive option for those who need to perform radon tests without incurring additional costs.
- The developer, Airthings ASA, has a reputation for producing high-quality air quality monitoring products, which lends credibility to the app and its functionality.
- The app's small size and lack of permissions required make it a lightweight and secure option for users concerned about data privacy and security.
Cons
- The app's limited functionality, which is focused solely on radon testing and report generation, may make it less useful for users who need to perform other types of indoor air quality tests.
- The mixed user reviews, with some users reporting issues with connectivity and report generation, may indicate that the app still has some bugs to work out.
- The lack of detailed information about the app's data collection and usage policies may raise concerns for users who are sensitive about their data privacy and security.
- The app's compatibility with only Android 7.0 and later may limit its use for users with older devices.
Best for: The ideal user for the Corentium Pro app is a professional or individual who needs to perform regular radon tests, such as a homeowner, builder, or environmental consultant, and has a basic understanding of indoor air quality testing and the use of dedicated instruments, but may not have extensive technical knowledge or experience with complex testing equipment.

Easy to use. Clear results.
So far it works well for me. Some issues with having to refresh but nothing too bad.
When I downloaded a year's worth of data sets to Excel to create my annual report for the state, the start and end times were 5 hours off. Apparently the Scandanavian geniuses didn't know there are different time zones! Duh. The app is clumsy and slow. The monitors are amazing (I have 3) but the app needs lots of work.
Everytime they update the app it creates access problems with the monitor, causing hours of lost productivity trying to resolve the issues.
