It works great for what it's meant to be used for, I bought an item with a barcode that said 'scan with transparency app', and I tried scanning it with my normal barcode scanning app and it said i have no apps to open this kind of barcode link, so I downloaded this app here and it opened a web page that had specs, info and the product description.

Good idea, but kinda simple. I wish it had a history of scanned products so you can go back and look at the info again without having to find the box and scan it again.

Codes scan easily however the product information that is shown is not independently verified. Who authors the information? What and where are the safety standards recorded for the product? When and where was it manufactured? So much more independently verified information is needed to demonstrate authenticity otherwise this is not much more than a link to the product webpage written by the seller, which doesn't count for much.

Extremely bare-bones. It feels like there's so much cool stuff that could be done with this data but this app utterly fails at doing anything beyond showing a very basic, poorly formatted product listing. No production date, shipping date, nothing. Disappointing.

what is the point of this app? if it actually gave you the link to said product this would actually be useful. but all it does is give you the "title" of the listing and some of the description for it. everytime I've tried just searching the "title" on amazon I get nothing.
