timeline feature is back but has been moved to Video Playback. thanks for bringing it back lollipop team.
I like the hardware on this camera but the app is hit or miss. I've been logged out in the middle of the night (super annoying) and also had the background mode fail on me multiple times. It also seems to have lost features to the paid version since I first started using it because I used to be able to scroll the timeline and now I can't. Overall it works well but not perfect. Edit: The recent (July 2025) update brings back the timeline but has made the camera really slow to load.
The new update (late June 2025) has better UI but much worse UX. The videos in the timeline (video playback) were possibly the thing we used the most and you removed it. The only way to see them is through the notifications now. There are also too many abstract icons with no text, so one has to guess what each one does by trial and error. I liked being able to customize my dashboard, but now everything is on there and I only use the music.
I've had lollipop cameras for a few years now, but this recent app update really reduced the usability of the app. It's no longer intuitive, I have two children and often have issues seeing both of them at the same time, as well as when viewing both cameras I can't click on one quickly and have to back out of the split view which often backs me out of the whole app. There is also always a loading circle in the middle of my video, even when it's not loading. Frustrating.
DO NOT USE UNTIL THEY ROLLBACK THE OLD VERSION. I have been using the app for years through a couple of kids and it was always convenient and mostly glitch free. Then a few months ago they pushed a new version of the app and it is completely useless. If it's not fixed soon we are going to be forced to purchase something different.
