Dental Drugs & Anesthesia v2.14
Apps 4 DentistAbout this app
Dental Drugs & Anesthesia solves the problem of dental professionals needing a reliable and convenient reference for drug information and local anesthetic dosages. This app benefits dental professionals the most, particularly those in clinical practice who require quick access to accurate and up-to-date information. Compared to alternatives in the Medical category, Dental Drugs & Anesthesia stands out for its specific focus on dental applications, making it a valuable resource for its target audience. However, its relatively simple feature set and lack of comprehensive patient management tools may limit its appeal to some users.
Pros
- With over 100,000 downloads and a 4.4/5 user rating, Dental Drugs & Anesthesia has demonstrated its value and effectiveness for dental professionals, providing a high level of social proof.
- The app's developer, Apps 4 Dentist, has a clear focus on creating tools for dental professionals, which suggests a deep understanding of the needs and challenges faced by this group, leading to a more tailored and relevant product.
- The absence of ads and the option for in-app purchases at a reasonable price of $2.99 per item contribute to a user-friendly experience that is not overly aggressive in its monetization strategy.
- Given that the app requires no permissions, users can be confident in the privacy and security of their data, as there is minimal risk of unauthorized access or misuse.
Cons
- One concern is that the app's functionality might be too specialized for some users, particularly those who are not dental professionals, which could limit its broader appeal and usefulness.
- The lack of comprehensive permissions analysis may indicate either a very streamlined and privacy-focused design or a potential oversight in the app's development, warranting cautious consideration by users.
- Some users might find the in-app purchase model, although not aggressive, to be somewhat restrictive if they require access to a wide range of premium content without wanting to make multiple purchases.
Best for: The ideal user for Dental Drugs & Anesthesia is a practicing dental professional, including dentists, dental hygienists, and dental assistants, who require rapid and reliable access to drug information and local anesthetic dosages as part of their daily clinical practice, and who value a straightforward, easy-to-use reference tool that is specifically tailored to their professional needs.

Best application for dental students and practitioner best this is that this application is free and ads free I will definitely share to my colleagues thank you 🙂🙂
Very nice, but need to be updated and provide automated dose calculations
This app didn't receive an update for 3 yrs now. Hope the developer didn't forget abt it because he have already done great efforts.
It's a great app, but it didn't receive an update for a long time .
Subscription? Seriously? New updated just came out (after years of nothing) and I only saw it for a few days before it booted me out and said I now need a yearly subscription. Why would anyone pay a subscription for this? Is it valuable? Yes Would I pay a one time fee of even $10m probably. Is it worth a yearly subscription? No, subscription fatigue is real. I don't need subscriptions to every single app. A one time fee works great. Maybe have additional content you can buy later, but this..
