Great game, I love the daily challenge when having a cuppa, it starts my day off nicely by waking my brain up in a gentle manner. Keeps the brain working in a nice way. It's in UK English because I'm fed up of USA spelling in crosswords. Really recommend this game.

One of the better crossword apps you will find. Provides a decent challenge and gives a lot of content for free. It could use a couple of enhancements: 1) A one off paid option for removing ads would be nice. 2) Support for the device keyboard would be ideal. Currently you are forced to use the in app keyboard and it is a bit hit and miss. Well worth a download though!

Originally thought that this was an excellent UK English crossword. And in some respect it is, functionally, but some of the abbreviations used in some of the clues do not make sense. E.g. "mo" on some planets is short for month. That was a recent example. The puzzle itself appears to work well and the graphics are clear. Just the clues are irritating sometimes.

After a year of playing this is getting worse - the keyboard is incredibly laggy and unresponsive, it would be better to use the built in keyboard as it really slows us down. 2) the game seems to have become more American over the time we've played it. It used to be enjoyable and the ads don't seem intrusive, but I'm looking for alternatives as the Devs don't seem interested in fixing the issues.

Edited my review after some time with this app. I'm very disappointed that the one decent British crossword puzzle app suffers lazy (and often incorrect) crossword clues taken from everywhere else. The built in keyboard is bad, why would it even be necessary. The moment I began it recommended an easy puzzle, I clicked the button and saw that it was instead a hard one. Lots of clues are ridiculously vague, others require research: seed coat is not called an aril. Aril is an accessory seed coat.
