Compared to alternatives in the Health And Fitness category, TalkCampus stands out for its exclusive focus on students and its strong developer reputation. However, its limited download numbers and lack of prominent features may make it less visible to potential users. Overall, TalkCampus's unique approach and strong user rating make it a valuable resource for students seeking support.
Pros

- The developer, TalkLife Ltd, has a reputation for creating high-quality mental health support apps, which lends credibility to TalkCampus.
- The app's lack of ads and in-app purchases ensures a distraction-free and non-exploitative user experience, which is essential for a mental health support app.
- TalkCampus's simple and straightforward design makes it easy for students to navigate and find the support they need.
Cons
- The limited download numbers of TalkCampus may indicate a lack of awareness about the app, which could limit its ability to provide a robust and diverse support community.
- The app's lack of prominent features and functionalities may make it less engaging for some users, potentially leading to a lack of retention and participation.
- The app's exclusive focus on students may also limit its ability to provide support for users who are not students, which could be a drawback for some potential users.
- The app's requirement for Android 11 may exclude some users with older devices, potentially limiting its accessibility and reach.
Best for: The ideal user for TalkCampus is a student, likely between the ages of 18 and 25, who is seeking a safe and supportive community to discuss their mental health and wellness, and who is comfortable with online discussions and forums, and has a basic level of technical skill and familiarity with mobile apps.

Connected me to other students and helped me realize I wasn't alone in dealing with mental health struggles and life hiccups. It felt good to be on something that catered specifically to students (I'm the only one among my family and friends right now). The app also stages interventions and offers contact info for support if you appear to be in crisis, which is helpful (although startling, especially if you're not used to someone caring/noticing). Will keep using! :)
I really enjoy being able to talk through some issues I've been having with other people. It allows for a new perspective, and logical thinking rather than emotional thinking.
Good app but needs further development not all the buttons work in the profile
