Tell us your preferences for therapy, whether it’s relationship advice, couples therapy, help with anxiety, or treatment for symptoms of depression, and you'll be matched with a professional therapist in your state the same day. Once matched, you can chat with your therapist via unlimited text, audio, picture, or video messages from anywhere, any time—you’ll hear back at least once a day, five days per week. Talkspace works with major insurance providers, and with over 100 million Americans covered, it is the top in-network therapy service.
IS TALKSPACE EFFECTIVE?
Online therapy through Talkspace has been shown to be as effective as face-to-face therapy. In one recent study, 81% of participants felt Talkspace is as effective or better than in-person therapy with a psychologist. In another, individuals who used Talkspace for only two months significantly improved symptoms of depression and anxiety, reducing their overall stress levels. With tools like unlimited chat messaging, licensed therapists provide tailored support and counseling to meet your needs, whether it’s individual or couple therapy. Talkspace has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, CNN.com, Business Insider, and more, highlighting its effectiveness in delivering professional mental health treatment and counseling through licensed psychologists. Whether you’re seeking support for stress, anxiety, or relationship issues as a couple, Talkspace offers flexible treatment and counseling options that fit your lifestyle. Plus, with insurance coverage, therapy can be more affordable than ever.

Talkspace Therapy & Counseling users say on Google Play
Its great to have several options on how I do my therapy, instant message, video call, phone call, or something else. I can even message my therapist when Im having a rough day or need some help outside of a full therapy session. Its great they work with my insurance, too.
My therapist is wonderful but the company is sketchy. They messed up the insurance.
I want to first say, the therapists and the way to connect are fine. it's been nice to talk to someone and the platform itself is nice the app, though, is very buggy and I can't always navigate it. the profile button is so high my phone can't register it and I can't click on it. sometimes the bottom navigation buttons are positioned in such a way that my phone back/switch/close app buttons are on top so, once again, I can't touch anything. there's more but my character limit has been met
I LOVE my counselor, which is the reason for at least 2 stars, but the platform is horrible. When I lost insurance, they said I had to pay $400 a week to keep seeing my counselor, no financial help at all. My counselor canceled a session that was scheduled. It got registered as a missed appt. and they took a credit away. My videos were saving to my camera roll. They blamed it on my phone. I denied camera roll access, and the video and audio features stopped working. Total HIPPA violation.
The help button in top left and the profile button are in the top right are completely inaccessible in Pixel 10 because they are hidden behind the pixel top pull down menu. It is impossible to navigate to help or profile or account settings or sign off. The only way I managed to access those buttons was by splitting the phone screen. Whoever designed this app needs to look into whether they should be doing this job when they can't think of basic product design considerations like this.
