This group of apps are flat out the best thing I have found for learning to hear intervals and read sheet music and rhythm notation. You need all 3 apps for real they are so fantastic that it will be hard to put them down. It is so much harder to learn ear training than you might think this app helps so much. I honestly rate it in the top of its class. I love the apps

I still think this is an excellent app, but since having eye surgery, I'm finding the very small text size a problem on some of the exercises (e.g. melodic dictations). I don't understand why it's so small when there's plenty of empty space in the UI. Increasing the text size in Android settings hardly helps, but makes other apps nearly unusable. Frustrating.

I really enjoy (and purchased ) the rhythm and music reader app from the same publisher, but I found the ear trainer completely unapproachable. I understand that it is supposed to be difficult, but I was expecting slower ramp up in difficulty. instead in easy mode the 3rd exercise is recognising m3 vs M3 with random root note. I am just not able to do that and the app does not provide a way to get there slowly/improve.

In one sentence: very badly structured. Both the easy and complete modes. It is clear that the developer didn't test the app structure and progression with real people. In easy mode chapter one we start with m3, M4 intervals compared to P8, but the very next chapter it is P4,P5,m3,M3 all in one single drill which is INFINITELY harder, if not outright impossible. Ok went to "complete" because it had them separated, persisted for a month. Next there I see ******* harmonic inversion recognition.

Its not very efficient for beginner. Sad Fact, i stuck on chapter 1 easy mode for almost 2 years. I only persevere because i paid the app. It still feel waste of money though. Only when i start to learn Solfege song this month, i managed to get 3 star and continue to chapter 2. Suggestion: Having Solfege training in the app would be very helpful.
